The best time to visit Bangkok is during the cool months from November through February.

• The dry winter months provide perfect conditions for temple tours along with market exploration and outdoor activities. Fewer rain showers in the city create better conditions for exploring its attractions because visitors do not need to worry about heavy downpours. 

• During this time, Bangkok experiences its busiest period because numerous tourists visit during this peak tourist season. This results in heavy crowds at popular attractions.

• Visitors who want low tourist numbers alongside occasional rainfall should plan their trip between June and October. The city experiences frequent rain showers during this period, but hotel prices tend to decrease, and the number of visitors remains low. 

• The hottest months of March to May in Bangkok bring temperatures above 35°C (95°F), which creates an uncomfortable climate. However, hot temperatures make this the ideal period for finding discounted flight and hotel rates.

The city’s train and bus stations also serve as transportation hubs for travelers heading to other parts of the country. The city of Bangkok can be accessed by long-distance buses, together with trains that depart from Chiang Mai and Hua Hin.
